Special Effects[]
Attack Boost[]
The only ability with an attack boost effect is Kiss, used by Faeries and Pixies. A Kiss will target any ally of the unit, including the caster. The character that is affected by Kiss will have their damage dealt increased by 8 and reduce incoming damage. Multiple instances of Kiss do not stack.
Charm[]
The only ability with the charm effect is Charm, used by the Vampyre. Charm places the Lover's Tarot effect on a single enemy target. If the enemy character is successfully hit, that character will retarget their attacks to their own unit. There is a special evasion bonus that reduces the attack success rate of the charmed character. This ability does not affect bosses.
Destroy Undead[]
All successful white attacks destroy Undead characters. The ability Healing can also destroy Undead, if any tactic but "Strong" is used.
HP Drain[]
The only ability with the HP Drain effect is Life Suck, which is used by the Vampyre. Life Suck works exactly like a normal damaging attack, but will also fill the Hit Points of the Vampyre for the same amount of damage done.
Healing[]
Healing will first destroy enemy Undead if set to any tactic but "Strong." If there are no Undead, the class casting Healing will target a character that does not have full HP, and has the least amount of HP within the unit.
HP 1/2[]
HP 1/2 is a special effect of the Pumpkin ability. A successful Pumpkin hit will lower the HP of the target enemy by 1/2 (rounded down if odd). If the target is Undead or has only 1 HP, the attack will kill that character if successfully hit. This ability does not effect bosses.
Petrify[]
Petrify is a special effect of the Petrify ability, used by the Cockatris. When Petrify successfully hits, it turns the target into a colored gem, its agility is reduced to 0, and that character is unable to perform actions. This status effect can only be cured with the Temperance Tarot, or naturally at the end of battle. This ability does not affect bosses.
Self-Damage[]
The special abilities Sonic Strike and Sonic Slice hurt the casters when the ability successfully hits its target. The amount of self damage is equal to 1/3 of the raw attack damage of the ability.
Stun[]
The stun ability places the Hierophant Tarot effect on the character(s) it successfully hits. While under the effects of stun, the character will have 0 agiliy and will be unable to perform actions. To cure this effect, the affected character must be attacked, which has a chance to wake the character, or the player must use a Temperance Tarot to remove the status. An enemy character under the effect of stun will always be hit by the Tower Tarot's ability. This ability can affect bosses.
